Are the treatments safe for pets and children?

Yes. All treatments use HSE-approved, professional-grade products that are applied safely in line with COSHH and BPCA regulations. We’ll always advise if temporary area restrictions are needed.

How long does it take to get rid of pests?

It depends on the pest and severity:

Rats/Mice: usually under control within 7–14 days
Bed Bugs/Fleas: typically 2–3 visits
Wasps: eliminated immediately after treatment

Do you guarantee your pest control service?

Yes. Most services come with a treatment warranty or revisit guarantee. If activity continues within that period, we’ll return free of charge.

How many visits will I need?

This depends on the pest: some can be solved in a single visit (like wasps), while rodents and insects often need 2–3 visits for full control and monitoring.

How much does pest control cost?

Wasps: from £60–£100 per nest

How do I stop pests from coming back?

We’ll identify and block entry points, advise on hygiene and storage, and recommend proofing measures. Regular maintenance visits are key to long-term prevention.

What qualifications do your technicians have?

All technicians are RSPH Level 2 certified and trained to BPCA standards. Environ (or Downlands) is fully insured and accredited for both residential and commercial work.

Can I stay in the property during treatment?

Usually yes — but for certain insect treatments (like bed bugs or fleas), you may need to vacate rooms for a few hours to allow safe application and ventilation.
